SEO Specialist in Sri Lanka

Technical, on-page and off-page SEO for websites that need to be found: fixing what stops pages from ranking, and building what helps them rank.

Looking for an SEO specialist in Sri Lanka? I’m Nishaka Avindya, an SEO Specialist in Sri Lanka, and I help businesses find and fix what stops their websites from ranking: technical issues, pages that miss search intent, and weak backlink profiles. You work directly with me, not through an account manager, and I work remotely with clients in Sri Lanka and abroad.

SEO services

  • SEO audit. A full crawl of your site. Every issue is scored by impact and effort and delivered as a clear, ordered fix list. For an example of the kind of checks involved, see finding stale content with Screaming Frog.
  • Technical SEO. Crawl and indexing fixes, rendering problems, site structure, Core Web Vitals and schema markup, coordinated with your developer.
  • On-page SEO. Titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and content that match what searchers actually want.
  • Keyword and content strategy. Keyword research, SERP and competitor analysis, and a content plan mapped to search intent.
  • Off-page SEO. Backlink audits, disavow files, and link acquisition planned from your site’s actual performance.

How I work

  1. Discovery call. Your goals, your market, and where your traffic comes from today.
  2. Audit. A crawl of the site plus a review of Search Console and analytics data.
  3. Priority plan. Fixes ranked by impact and effort, so the most valuable work happens first.
  4. Implementation. Done by me, or alongside your developer.
  5. Reporting. Rankings, traffic and what’s next, in plain language.

Tools I use

Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, Semrush and Ahrefs, plus Google Apps Script automation that turns repetitive audits and reports into scheduled jobs. Some of that tooling is public on the Tools page.

How much does an SEO specialist cost in Sri Lanka?

It depends on the size of the site and the work involved. I price each project after a short call, once I’ve seen the site: audits as a one-off project, ongoing SEO as a monthly scope.

How long does SEO take?

Technical fixes can show up in Search Console within weeks of going live. Ranking gains take longer, usually months rather than weeks. How long depends on how competitive the queries are, the state of the site, and how quickly fixes go live. Anyone promising a guaranteed timeline or position is guessing.

SEO for AI search too

Search is no longer only ten blue links. Every SEO engagement includes a check of how your brand shows up in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. That work is covered in detail on the GEO / AEO page.

Questions about hiring an SEO specialist

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and no one honestly can. Google decides rankings. What I can commit to is finding what holds your site back, fixing it in order of impact, and reporting clearly on what changed.

Can you work with my developer?

Yes. Technical fixes are written up as clear, specific tickets your developer can act on, and I check each one after it goes live.

What do you need from me to start?

Access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics, a short call about your goals, and a contact on the development side if technical fixes are likely.
